Martin Villeneuve: How I made an impossible film

Filmmaker Martin Villeneuve talks about Mars et Avril (2012), the Canadian sci-fi spectacular he made with virtually no money. 

He explains the various ways he overcame financial and logistical constraints to produce his unique and inventive vision of the future.

I find it incredible that a man can boast about making a movie for 2.3 million dollars as if it is a very cheap undertaking. Not to detract from his 7 years of hard work, collaboration and inspiration. It's just that society does not put that kind of money into improving our environment or our neighbors' worlds.
